Solo exhibition at Photographic Centre Peri, Turku
Life Be Like was Inari Sandell’s BFA diploma work for the Arts Academy of Turku University of Applied Sciences and their first solo exhibition. Discussing themes of life online, dreaming, disillusion with the ‘irl’, 'AFK' and staying in the present, the show was strongly intertwined with Sandell’s thesis on selfie culture, as well as their academic interests in media studies. With the opening of the exhibition, Sandell and artist Mortti Saarnia also released their self-published photography zine #forever.
